making money is the only thing some people know how to do and the costs are always to great for the ones who must provide the means to the ends of those in power who seek money.

Look at the seditious people in this country. Some of them are in power and they'll lie, spread rumors without proof, act as if other people are guilty until proven innocent, call them names, etc. Seems to me they'll undermine our country and elected leaders for political points, and then wonder why none of us ever vote for them again.
They've already gone too far. We see them.
Some of us still call a traitor, a traitor.
