I recently saw a question on polls & surveys asking what hair colour people had - the strangest thing is that some who gave a colour had an avatar with a completely different hair colour!!
I've just changed my avatar - do you like?? Surprisingly enough, facially it does actually look like me, although bodily I have a bit more wight round the hips and tummy area...
Can I ask another Q on this??? I haven't read the guidelines.. Oh well, here goes: Why can they not have "body shape" in the avatars, so we can really make our avatars look like us? Some prople are proud of being more rounded!!

Having an avatar means you can choose to be anyone you wanna be..the eye color and hair color I chose for mine match me but other than that its nothing like I look..besides it makes me look 13 for crissake!..lol...Looking younger is better than looking my age I guess,but then again most kids on here think 20 is old..lol...and I am way beyond that! I like your avatar,its cute..=)

I tried to make my avatar look as similar to my real looks as possible, but it still doesn't look similar to me. My face and body are completely different.
I've thought about it too, that it's silly that yahoo avatars only offer looking very young and thin. I think they should add more options so that people can make more realistic looking avatars.

No that I am proud being more rounded however I had the question myself. I wanted my avi to be more like me but I couldn't do because now I seem slim and way gorgeous and thats not real. In face, hair and style it looks like me but not the body.

I look just like my avatar, except that my hair's a little bushier and I'm a lot taller, everybody who knows me says I'm a spitting image of my avatar. And though my avatar fits my body shape, I agree with you ... we ought to have a "body shape" section in avatars, it makes them more realistic

My avatar looks like me, changed it to look like me, I also have my hair up today! good idea with the body shape.

You go girl, My avatar also looks like me facially, but he is a little scrawny, I have alot more muscle than the little man. So for me it is very frustrating.

my avatar is what i want to look like. lol. i'm actually much more pale and i don't have glasses (not that i want them.) and i know what you mean about the body shape thing. i think it would be great if they added that option.

Amazingly enough mine does.I had my 16 year old daughter to do it,I am half cherokee Indian so I have dark hair and nice tan skin,however the other half is a mix of german and Irish and I have blue eyes.
