If your cycle lasts 28 days, and you are absolutely regular, then depending how long are your periods, let's say 4-5 days - frequent- then 10 days after will be your estimated ovulation day. Considering that the spermatozoon's might survive a week being still able to fertilize in the woman's reproductive system, then there are not that many " safe " days.
In general, from the first day of your menstruation you have a week secure, and if you are VERY regular, another 5-7 days before your expected next period.
Good luck and use a Condom, not only safer in contraception but also to prevent sexual transmissible sickness.

no no no no no no no no no no! if you dont know this then you shouldnt be having sex! but i'm very glad that you asked this question so other clueless people might wake up. honestly, think about it, if you add those ten days before and after to lets say a basic 7 day period, youre allready up to 27 days and that means you only have one day left where you can actually get pregnant! (normal menstrual cycle is 28 days by the way). you REALLY didnt think this one through did you

this is type of the era between 7-14 on the start of your cycle. Human sperm can stay contained in the vagina for approximately 5 days. Ovulation takes position about 14 days formerly your era. So usually everywhere between the seventh day of your era and the 22 - twenty fourth day should be opportune time for idea to ensue.

Dont sount on it! The female body's "clock" isnt always reliable. Just because menstruation is regular doesnt mean anything. Her fertile days can vary depending on many factors (stress, sickness, even diet). Only close monotoring by temperatures can give a better clue as to when she is "safe".
If you go by your theory..be sure to keep a few baby names in mind ;-)
Best wishes!
