Depends on the cartoon. I've always found the furry stuff or the Disney porn a little perverse.
However, there are many animated series that are treated the same as their live action counterparts within their fandoms. Think Jem, Thundercats, Batman:TAS (there are some profoundly disturbing things in the series itself), He-Man, Real Ghostbusters...In those cases, the fact it's ink and paint makes little difference, and you'll get "adult" material, some of which might actually be interesting and readable.
