Where have you found that?
Alexander was a military genius and he was never defeated in battle!
His empire was stretched from Greece al the way to India!
He expanded Greek culture and language and he turned the know world to a Greek world!
But the empire didn’t last united! After his death his Generals (and not his sons as he had only an infant one) break the empire into smaller Greek-Hellenistic kingdoms!
Never the less the Greek world survived and Rome was heavily influenced.
{Note that Alexander was from the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia (or Macedon) and not from the modern Slavic-Macedonia. A lot of people tend to confuse them}

Alexander the Great was never defeated in battle. The entire known world fell to him all the way from Greece around through Persia and into Egypt. And his conquests didn't last long after his death, but were torn apart by petty squabbles between his sons.
