I can't believe so many people here consider porn to be addictive. Ha, ha! I've just had this great image of hooded yobbos mugging old grannies to get a porn fix....brilliant. How weak minded do you have to be to get addicted to watching other people rutting?

Porn's a laugh - it's entertainment and it gives a cheap thrill. Some of the "erotica" stuff is quite good for people who need a helping hand with techniques or breaking the ice with a new partner, or just getting in the mood.

I can't imagine there's too many in the business these days who are genuinely being exploited - they earn a hell of a lot more than I do and I reckon they enjoy their work.

So yeah, why not? If you go to a field in the spring time, you'll see the animals banging away, so why not people? We all do it - it's fun.

PORN IS STRONGLY LINKED TO RAPE
AND VIOLENCE

but i will get to this in a minute.

Questions that you can personally ask
yourself are...

1. Is the person married or dating?
2. If so, does the married partner mind?
3. Does it effect their sexual life?
4. Does it upset the spouse/bf/gf
5. How much time do they spend using it?
6. Have they withdrawn from family?
7. Have they withdrawn from spouse?Gf? Bf?
8. Is it a home with children who live there?
9. Is this person religious?
10. Are there any violent or degrading acts
in the pornography?
11. How much money do they spend on it?
12. How often are they using it?
13. Is it desensitizing the person mentally or
physically?
14. Does it change how they view men?Women?
15. Do they know about the suicide rate and
drug addiction rate of adult actresses?
16. How old are they?

these are some of the questions one should
ask themselves if using it. Honestly it isnt
any of my business . I personally would not
have it in my home. I have worked in the
adult industry , not as an adult film actress tho.
And I can tell you the misery that much of these
women go through. I also know of a woman
who killed her self because of this.

Also rape and murder are strongly linked to
pornography. Many serial killers where addicted
to pornography. I beleive there is enough evidence
out there that it can evoke violence against women.

Yes - because I like it. Yes - because Western porn is no longer exploitative but a well paid career for it's participants. Yes - but only if all parties are consenting and left undamaged by the experience.

no. because (READ THIS)---

• Pedophiles use porn to “season” their victims. If you want an 8-year-old to give you a ********, you’re going to need to show him a photo so he knows what to do. 87% of molesters of girls, and 77% of the molesters of boys admitted to regular use of hard-core pornography.

• At a 2003 meeting of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, two-thirds of the 350 divorce lawyers who attended said Internet porn contributed to more than half of the divorce cases they handled.

• Porn performers commonly turn to drugs to cope with the effects of porn on their psyches. As ex-actress Shelley Lubben notes, “some women hate it so much you can hear them vomiting in the bathroom between scenes.”

• Over half of convicted rapists in 56% of the rapists in 1988 study said they imitated favorite porn scenes while committing their crimes. And a detective examining rapes committed in Michigan between 1956-1979 found that porn was used before or during the crime in 41% of the incidents.

No because it stops you finding a satisfying relationship with someone real, it can become addictive and cause you real problems with a human being, and because it exploits the people involved (yes I know they all say they do it because they want to but really does anyone believe they have any self-respect).

Yes, as long as it's between consenting adults, why not?

Some people need the stimulation/inspiration - whether it's becasue they're lonely, new to sex or just need to add some excitment to a stagnant relationship.

yes if your not in a relationship

no if you are in a relationship, unless both are watching it.

i think if you are in a relationship and you are secretly watching it then that sucks. you've got a girl/guy right there to do those things that the people in the video are doing plus is like cheating.

No. It can become addictive and lead to an abnormal, dangerous state. Sex is natural. Porn is not.

No, definatley not. Because it ruins relationships and the intimacy that should be shared with husband/wife/boyf/girlf. And if you have them, why do you need porn!?
