If only you could enlighten us with what is "spaceketball" we might consider abolishing football (soccer)

1. Because it's poorly played.
Soccer is definitively useless. USA and Australia should leave it, as well as Canada or New Zealand. Those countries are great in athletics, swimming, own sports as American helmeted-rugby (they call it football, but it's a clash-and-strike and run-following-a hand-launched-ball. Feet are poorly involved. They kick the ball few times in a match. And, more oddily, the ball isn't a sphere! You can easily figure it out how it bounces! Ridicolous!), Baseball, Ice Hockey, Basket (it needs to remember how American are self-confident: the last Olympic Games, their dream team made with the world best players got an unimpressive 3rd place!). In "soccer", they are poorly playing countries and sore loser, blaming referees, bubble-talking about cheats and so on...
Besides this, Australia and New Zealand ROCKS in rugby!!!

Surely FIFA dislike "soccer" playing communities. It could easily fade away going out of players. USA people seem not involved in "soccer". All over the world football is the main sport and no one will cry upon "soccer" end.
Your suggestion to replace in those countries "soccer" with Spaceketball needs to think twice. As above, basket wasn't so well-played in USA, and Americans only love to win. You must be sure they rule in Spaceketball, and I haven't seen actual rankings yet. Maybe you should switch on something well fitted to overweighted Americans... wonder which sport could it be ... Darts? Computer games? Eating hamburgers? Watching TV?...

Are you kidding me? I'm not ganna rotten out by watching Baseball, Football (American), and Basketball (even though I like playing it).
Baseball and American Football are the most boring sports out there. I don't really consider them sports, especially American Football. I'm tired of seeing it on TV. It's nothing but violence and people chasing a stupid ball and jumping on each other. That's not sport. That's my opinion. They take breaks every 15 minutes or something. That's easy.
I know how Americans have been trying to influence over Football (what you call Soccer). Well it's not working so you better just stop trying because other parts of the world rather watch Football and not American sports.
I could go on and on about this but my hand are tired. UGHHH

You know.... I like watching soccer (sometimes), but it's just not that exciting to me. I mean, all sports are the same, get the ball to the other end of the field or whatever, but some sports are more interesting and exciting than others, and i'm afraid soccer isn't one of those sports.
