Hell no! Pirates 2 was horrible!
Watch this, this sums up my review and thoughts on this idiotic/boring/pointless/uninteresting/long/directionless/plotless/
dialogue less movie.

Okay. I seriously don't understand how these movies do so well and people try to back them up as if they're such great movies (which they aren't). First off, the two movies have a combined dialogue of about 30 minutes- I'm not complaining that there isn't enough talking, rather I'm complaining that there isn't enough story/plot. Secondly, the movies are flat out uninteresting and boring. I'm all for "fun" movies with stupid plots every now and then but this movie is not "fun" and just feels like they threw a bunch of people onto a set and had them come up with crap off of the top of their heads. Thirdly I hear people talking about "Oh its the characters, they're so great"- well thats garbage; the characters are mildy interesting if at all. "Oh Jack Sparrow is so funny!" Um...NO. He's not. It's all basic (might I add quite expected) humor that's been done a million times and now Johnny Depp is doing it half-heartedly. And finally, this movie is way too long for no reason- it just feels like constant filler material. I will give the movie this much: The music is pretty good (as expected from a Jerry B. movie and I suspect Hans Zimmer was the composer) and the directing is decent as well.
Final Verdict:
Go see this movie if you are having trouble sleeping at home or are easily won over by unrelenting CGI and want to come out feeling utterly unmoved in thought/emotion.

I hadnt seen the second one but I didnt really like the first one it was pretty boring. And Johnny Depp looked like he was on crack in the movie.

Not only Pirates 2, even Johnny Depp sucks! Why do girls go nuts about him?? C'mon! We have far more good looking male celebs!!!!!!!!!!

well let's see.....everyone thinks Jack Sparrow is his best character ever.....and wow what a coinsidence, he gets an Oscar nomination for that character too.....hmm, strange isn't it? oh and yes, you are the only one who thought it sucked. it's ok though, being different isn't always a bad thing.

The first movie was so funny. I loved it.
I just saw the second last night. It was good but the first was def better.
