hi i need a software that can record from my old 8 tracks a records and tapes i need a computer software and one that automaticly makes tracks for the songs i have my record 8 track and tape deck hooked up to my pc in the line in port thank you very much...... more good info get the best answer

use audacity it is free and has many feathures
i use it for the same reason

you will probably only get stereo from a standard line in port.
any software that supports analogue input should work.
