OK so I have typed this theory many times only to be not listend to PLEASE LISTEN AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK! (sorry for the spelling) OK so If anybody remembers right there was a locket that they found, while cleaning Sirius' house (may his soal rest in peace) and nobody was able to open it so they threw it away. (remeber that the initials from the fake locket in book 6 R.A.B.) possibly Reguless, Sirius' brother, destroyd the locket and left the remains of it behind because he was probibly killed within time of that because the Dark Lord can probibly feel when he has a peice of his soal destroyed. So he murderd Regules for betrayle. So the leftovers of the locket were placed in the cabnit by Kreacher the house elf. So What do you think? Please tell me what you think... Also I love reading other people's theorys so if you have one please do share! (p.s sorry if its in the wrong place)

That is very possible, but it says in the sixth book (I think) that the Dark Lord had been parted with the horcrux for so long, that they didn't think he would feel when one had been destroyed. Remember he had seven (I believe) horcruxes made and he had been a weird being for around 17 years that added on to the time after he had made them. So for 17 plus years he had seven pieces of him somewhere else. So, if he had been parted so long don't you think he wouldn't notice if it was gone? That is the one thing I don't agree with. (All this is only if I remember correctly... I will read it again and get back to you)

That was the first thing I thought after reading the book.

Lord Thingy didn't make 7 horcruxes, he made 6, the seventh being the part of his soul left in his own body.

I thought the locket at 12 Grimmauld Place was definitely the one. Great theory.

RAB has to be someone we know. but did u see the cover of 6th book carefully there is the picture of marvolo's ring ,the crack onthe ring matches harry's scar(correct if iam mistaken) and harry also has some of voldemort's powers and voldemort was going to cr8 a 7th horcrux after killing the potters so maybe harry is a horcrux as he is going to die in 7th part. the 7th horcrux is supposed to be something of gryffindor's (harry is true gryffindor he pulled out gryffindor's sword from hat). but i might be wrong as horcruxes are not supposed to be in living things. and the prophecy mentions"either must die at the hands of other for neither can live while other survives"

i think it might be possible.

OK now you know the prophesy made about harry and the dark lord, neither can live while the other survives. i think when the dark lord tried to kill harry as a baby he lost a piece of his soul to harry, that's why they are "connected" somehow. and i think in order for harry to kill voldemort, he is going to have to kill himself.

yes i agree with you that it might belong to regulas. but also i think that harry potter may be one of the horcruxes and in the seventh book he will sacrifice himself and end lord voldemorts power.
