A couple of answers here.

Not all gay people like, or choose to wear pink.
In years gone by, pink was probably more associated with little girls (remember the pink and blue blankets for girl and boy babies?) and men would not choose it as a fashion choice, so a gay man might make a fashion statement with it. Today, all kinds of men know they look good in a pink dress shirt or whatever, and it's not a big deal.

In World War II, the Nazis discriminated against homosexuals and the homosexuals held in concentration camps were made to wear pink triangles. Some gay people today wear pink in remembrance and defiance of discrimination.

I am gay and do not like pink anything. Pink is associated with being gay which I happen to think is totally ridiculous. I hate pink houses, pink shirts etc. The only thing that pink looks good on is a girl or women. This is how all this started. You know when you are born it is pink or blue. Pink is associated with the feminine and some people think being gay is on the female side of things, so pink is the co lour.

Speak for your self!

Anywayt is not that gays are enamored with pink. Pink became associated with gays because hitler had gays where pink triangles to classify them when he had them in concentration camps. Yes - Hitler killed many people just for being homosexual. Berlin used have a great gay community in the 30's. Many of these men were loyal to hitler and were important in the Nazi party. But some mean elements took over and they made Hitler put them all in camps to be worked to death.

This is a stereotype. That is like asking any other prejudiced question. I know straight guys that look good in pink, and I know gay guys who look crappy in pink. I don't think sexual orientation has anything to do with a preference in colors.

are you serious, my gay friends like black and other random colors they never wear pink. but i suppose maybe other gay people might because they are not afraid to show thier feminine side. unlike guys who cant wear pink because they think it will hurt they're manly outlook.
