I'm only 21, but hey...
I would tell me-as-a-teenager not to be so hard on myself, because everything's working out okay so far. I've wasted a lot of time worrying when I didn't need to.
And I'd tell myself then about my present medical issues so I could start taking care of them sooner and save myself the stress.
And I wouldn't tell myself which friends to avoid, but I'd definitely tell myself how certain friendships turned out, just so I'd be prepared.

Quit the band I'm in while playing a gig in Myrtle Beach, S.C. ( '77 & '78 ) and get a day job and reside there. Or, try to become a member of the then unknown band "Alabama" who was playing a gig next door

I'd tell me that I don't need a man to look after me, I can be self-sufficient and that I am actually far more intelligent than I think I am -all I need to do is have some faith in myself and my abilities. Both of these I found out the hard way.... sigh!

Don't let fear stand in the way of what you want to do in life. The real world is bigger than high school.
