Not all companies do performance reviews every six months. That is something that is solely up to each company.

For Carl,,,,OSHA is a saftey administration board and has nothing to do with how companies do appraisals or reviews to their employees.

It is mandatory that the boss. Based on the Performance Appraisal ur salary will be increased.

At my company it's after 90days and then once per year. I manage a department of 57 and I am constantly doing performance appraisals as they are based from your hire date. What is your specific question?

i don't do them but used to- be generous with yourself- you'll get a better appraisal. if you're too hard on yourself, the appraiser will give you lower grades because the impression is that you will not challenge it. nobody likes confrontation, even a supervisor.

Yes, that's the law. That way your boss is protected from a lawsuit when he decides to fire your inefficient behind.
