Was it because Bush thought that there were WMDs or was it to get revenge for his father, because Bush did mention that "that man tried to kill my father" Was it to spread peace and democracy which he didnt mention when we invaded Iraq but was an after thought we no WMDs were found. Why do some people think it was to fight terrorism, when there were no terroists there prior to the invasion.

We are not worried about America since we have so many other problems to b worried about in India , but , Bush's Invasion of Iraq is absolutely right and for that matter all arabic countries need to be invaded and democracy must be established before another 9/11 repeats in any other part of the world. So, for whatever reasons Bush has invaded Iraq, i feel it is all for the betterment of the world together and u r question can b answered only by the man himself,George Bush...

There were many reasons why and all are good reasons but the bottom line is that it needed to happen and in the end everyone will look back and be glad Bush did. What has made this war so bad is the liberal media being way to involved. I say take out the reporters go in and get the job done by using Marshal Law!!

Over 500 WMD's have been found to date. Search New York Times article of 2 weeks ago. You don't know what you are talking about.

There were no terrorists there prior to the invasion? I guess you don't know about Salmon Pak! Better not look it up, I wouldn't want the FACTS to interfere with your fantasy.

Because Russia was too big to invade :)

Actually, WMD's WERE found (it was announced two weeks ago), but did NBC, ABC or CBS report it?. . of course not! Because they didn't WANT there to be any WMD's found, but they were found).

Tell that to all the whackos that love to say there were no WMD's in Iraq.

Actually, the man who killed Leon Klinghoffer WAS in Baghdad when we went into Iraq. He was a terrorist. So there were terrorists in Iraq prior to our invasion.

Bush stated that Iraq Saddam had nuclear weapons which he would use against the U.S. in a act of terrorism, he said he was afiliated with bin laden and that terrorist were given weapons and were even trained by saddam army, wat he failed to say was that the report was old and had no confirmed evidence, we as americans choose wrong, we made the mistake and allow an idiot like Bush take office, we envaded them for fear of being attack and having more U.S. citizen died do to terrorism, once again we choose wrong, we send our troops to middle east also know as time bomb, were they now face death every day we allow Bush to send them to their death we sent them to die over their instead of their soil in the U.S.

I don't think it was to spread peace and democracy. You cannot force this on someone. Use war to ensure peace. Hm. By the way - this is what we have the U.N. to ensure - if all countries payed their dues..... I think this one country missed out here?

I think it was seeing Saddam as a threat being as he controlled large quanta of oil - making oil prices unpredictable.

(did he really say that? "that man tried to kill my father"? Really?)
("I did not have sex with that woman" - is it a somewhat impersonating way of putting things...)....

DUH!!! Because the Iraqi people have no structured government, its similar to why Korea is firing "Test Missles" as you know or should know they are a communist country..........we give them millions of dollars per year for the things to live off of, reason why? They spend all of their money on their military. Iraq by the way doesnt have money to start with so they just figured they'ed have some fun and games and kill a bunch of people. Its completly rediculus.

I remember that it replaced into mountaineering into the $2.20+ selection for a on a similar time as lower back interior the spring of 2000. and then for a month or so it actual dipped under $2 and went as low as $a million.85 a gallon. i replaced into living in Ecuador from 1995-1996, and replaced into shocked at how high priced gasoline replaced into there lower back then - perhaps $4 or $5 for a "gallon" (i think of I remember they sell via the liters, so it replaced into much less in line with liter, of direction, yet whilst extra as much as a gallon, it replaced into high priced). And when I visited Paris in 2002, after 9/11, to get a gallon of gasoline you have been spending approximately $6. in my opinion, we interior the US have been particularly spoiled via our gasoline costs. $4/gallon isn't something whilst in comparison with different factors of the international.
