When Hillary & Tenzing Norgay were on the Mt. Everest, Tenzing took out 4 flags of the Britain, Nepal, the United Nations and India. Why did he take the Indian flag? Mt. Everest is not in India and Tenzing is also not an Indian, then why?

Okay, so why don't you ask Why Britain.
Logically, Mt. Everest is much near India than Britain...


Actually Tenzing had previously lived in Darjeeling, India...

Because Mt. Everest was named after Sir George Everest who was an Indian surveyor that first prepared the detail maps of the Himalayans.
