There is an innate flaw with human beings, which is they are stubborn as hell.
Since they're stubborn, they do crazy things, such as vote for George W. Bush because they don't want gay people to be able to marry.
They are repressed and uptight.
They also think that terrorism can be ended, when it can't ever be. Anyone can do terrorism at any time.
How can people make our world more peaceful? People need to realize that every individual person should live life in a moral way, and treat others how they want to be treated. They don't need religion or anything to do this. They should be able to do it because it's the right way to live.
By hating those who are a difference race, religion, or have different ideas, because of their stubbornness, human beings lack the ability to make the world more peaceful.

Ok buddy . .
First of all I have to say . . that its "WHAT can ppl do" and not "HOW" ok . . TYPO mistake . . not a problem . . !!!
Ok . . the thing is . . that we . . as humans can never change . . It always seems . . that if a country takes one step forward. . its politicans or (others) . . seem to go four steps back . . . I mean its simple . . . its really hard finding someone with the same frame of mind. . EVERYONE'S different . . and so they think differently . .
Now in order to resolve all of this . . . the World leaders need to come to an understanding. . . (although I doubt that this will help) . . . but something of this sort needs to be done. . .
Nowadays its all about POWER . . so its really hard to actually determine what will come of all the countries . . or the WORLD for that matter . . .
POWER hungry Presidents and world leaders are all over . . .each want to be more powerful than the other. . .
I have a solution though . . . SHOOT and KILL all the power hungry leaders . . . then perhaps we could live in peace and tranquility . . . LOL !!!
But that will never happen . . coz if you kill one you will have another 10 trying to take his place . . .
In the END . . . we can do NOTHING . . . its our FATE . . . its been built into us . . GREED . . . LUST (they are different kinds of lust) POWER . . . all these things are more to us than HUMANITY itself . . .
So my advice to you is . . LIVE WITH IT . . . coz it aint gonna CHANGE anytime soon . . .

We can make our world more peaceful without using guns etc by first be at peace with our selves, accept whatever may happen to us and face the reality of today.
When things go wrong within us or around us do not just be quite and let the others do for you rather fight for the truth even if your lives will be endanger because to oppose the truth entails a lot from us but don't worry God knows what is in your heart and HE will provide for you.

Start with yourself. Try to make yourself a more peaceful person, and make yourself a good example for other people. You can't make people do anything, but you can show that there's another way that works.
I think it does work, and it's been going on a long time. As bad as it is, the world is not nearly as nasty as it was 1000 years ago. At this rate, maybe we'll be in good shape in another few thousand years. (I'm an optimist in this regard.)

Before a war, we shud ask the prime leaders from both the sides to join Yahoo questions and answers and then take a decision on whether they need to go on a war after hearing from citizens of both the countries and ofcourse the people from other parts of the world as well......

Every person want to have a peace of mind and this could be possible only if there are no threats of war. Thus, people must be enjoined to stop war at all means. Disputes must be settled amicably.

I Have a solution, but it is a bit extreme. Every time a war breaks out Drop A Nuke. It will stop people in future from even thinging about starting a war

Unfortunately, there really isn't any practical answer, because all men are sinful, and so all men do what they want and ignore what God wants.
Oh, sure, there are some who obey God, but almost all men refuse to obey Him, so there will always be violence, because man is sinful and selfish and evil and violent. We are born that way. It's the curse of sin we inherited from Adam (and he got it when he rebelled against God). It's why we die, (because we sin), and why Adam died (because he sinned).
Only by seeking and embracing Jesus and His Gospel through the Bible is there any hope for anyone.

Start making peace in your heart, within your household, neighborhood, community, church, job, city, state, country. If everyone did that, it would trickle out to World Peace.
