a rice cooker is nice 'cause you can just put everything in, turn it on, and leave it. but as far as taste i don't notice much difference.

I always cook my rice on the stove. If you use rice very often then I guess a rice cooker would make sense to have. For me, it is just another pot/appliance that sits only to be used once in a while. I have not heard of there being a great deal of difference in the outcome of the rice.

Depends what kind of pot your using. If your using a pot that has an aluminum finish on it...then the rice cooker...because very small amounts of the finish leak into your rice and into your system. One of the unlining causes of Alzheimers is...
Products made with Aluminum. So watch what you cook with...
It's also in most deoderant too (But this is a whole other story)

I personally used a stainless steal pot to cook my rice in...
works great and you don't have to find extra room to put it like if your thinking of buying a cooker!

It depends on what kind of rice you're cooking. If you're cooking the Thai rice, Chinese rice etc then that's excellent for the rice cooker, But now if you've got par broiled, I find that's best cooked only on the stove top.

I would personally like to know that what do u mean by Stove-- isit a kerosen stove or a natural stove which r used in native places ???

If you are too bussy its better in Cooker or else i would suggest in stove. More hiegyne food is both nothing lost as such becuase both are safe to eat. Science as different ways to look at, but let us go the natural way.
Everything you eat by cooking in cooker or stove is good!!! as it destroys bacteria.

John

You can even make it in a micowave or if you have a lot of time you can put rice in a thermos flask with boiling water and salt, put on the lid and leave for a few hours and it's cooked!
