I'm not a girl but I do have a couple of tatts and I would only get something if it was truly meaningful and would carry a lifelong significance.
Also try to get something original and unique to you cause if you get a tatt it's gonna be with you for the rest of your life, unless you have it removed them you look stupid and you have a big expensive scar, anyways get something unique don't get something that everyone else already has or something that is just so very cliche.

I have a tattoo at the base of my spine, its a symbol of my star sign - always find that a very personal thing to have.
Or roman numerals for someone close to you i.e. if you have a child or your husband or parents etc.

maybe a little butterfly...just a colorful one. at first i thought having a tattoo is dirty but when i started meeting guys on webdate whose cool with a girl with tattoos,i'm on with it. LOL!
