The best way to find out is to get the sales person selling the car seat to show you how to fit it in your car.
One to watch out for is buckle crunch - the buckle of the seatbelt by which the baby car seat is secured should not be in contact with the car seat at all. Otherwise in the event of a collusion, the stress on the buckle transferred from the car seat may break the buckle and release the seat belt.
You may find that having a baby car seat in the back of a coupe a nightmare, especially on your back and shoulders as you try to squeeze in between the door and the front seat to take the child in and out of the seat. There's no way around that I'm afraid, except getting another car with 4 doors.
I'd be wary about putting baby car seats in the front seat, especially if it's the rear facing type. If you have airbags on the passenger side, this is very dangerous. Disable it off if you can before installing the car seat.
Again with the push chair, take the car to the shop you're buying the push chair and ask them if you can try to put it in the back of the car.
