It depends. In Spain we pronounce "s" and "c" like two different consonants. You should say "Ben-eeth-e-oh", the sound "th" as in "thin", or "think". As he is Spanish, you should say it that way. The first pronunciation you quote, "Ben-ees-e-oh" is from Latin America.
And you must stress the second syllabe: Be-ni-cio

I pronounce it with a "seeoh" but some pronounce it with "cheeoh". It depends on the person. Nobody is gonna laugh if u say it wrong.
