Normal (behavior)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In behavior, normal means not deviating very much from the average.
"Not normal" is often used in a negative sense (improper, sick, etc.). Abnormality varies greatly in how pleasant or unpleasant this is for other people; somebody may half-jokingly be called "pleasantly disturbed". Examples of "normality" are mainstream, temperance, vanilla sex, equilibrium, stability, reality, peace, health, middle way; contrast these with eccentricity, perversion, paraphilia, intersexual, disease, disability, mental illness, addiction, war, crime, fantasy, dream, hallucination, illusion.
Some terms could fit in both lists, for example boredom: too much "normality" can be boring, but boredom is a kind of suffering, which can be considered "not normal".
Quote: It is dangerous to be right on a subject on which the established authorities are wrong. - Voltaire. (It is dangerous not to be "normal" even if you are right).
Quote: That kid Robert is more normal than you Kate! (that person acts in a such a way that does not vary much from an average socialogical point of view. )
Quote: Keep it Real! (Stop being fixated by dreams of unachievable things, focus on the reality of the present situation.)

I don't know how you expect to get any answers here; there are no normal people on this site!
But seriously, "normal" is just a statistical thing. It depends on what particular character trait or variable you are referencing. A person of normal height may not be of normal intelligence, or have a normal income, or whatever. There must be SOME ways in which I am normal . . . just wish I could think of one right now . . . well, when I do, I'll come back and edit this answer.

No I am not normal and don't need to be.. I feel suffocated in rigid systems everyone else somehow manages to accept... I am an individualist.... but I am a nice, cultured and decent person with nothing wrong in the head.... I think that's more important isn't it? So just accept yourself the way you are. 'Normal' is a word other people use to define what's around them. It is really not important in the individual context. Maybe you have eccentricities, like singing or talking to yourself. They make you unique and cute, and you shouldn't worry about what others think about them.

Define normal? Are there any of us who are normal? People, each one of us for that matter, have our own individual intricacies and complexities. We are all eccentrics in various ways, forms and degrees. No one can quite be normal because being human, we can only accept the weaknesses that we have been given.
For that matter, normal or not, we should be happy. Happiness is a choice. Happiness is a choice we can make regardless of how abnormal we think ourselves to be. :)

Normal is when you behave and look acceptable to other people that surround you. I'm quite happy being normal. Why not? Normal is a good thing. People could be normal and still be unique.

The word normal is flexible. It depends on the people it influences. To me normal is being with family and talking about naruto nonstop. I seem happy dont I? hahaha.

I don't think anyone is normal. Or else it is normal to be abnormal. I don't think I'm normal so I wouldn't know. Also, I don't even know what you mean by normal to know if I am that...
