Being divorced doesn't have to mean that you can't stand each other or you hate each other it just mean that you can't be together emotionally

I am currently dating my exhusband of 22 years. Yes it can work as long as each one understands that this time apart is for GROWTH, not playing around, not drinking, partying, doing stupid stuff. After our kids left the house we were looking at each as strangers and we both seemed to want to go in different directions, this IS the rest of our lives! We were fighting so much about where each of us wanted to be we decided to seperate and divorce so we could be free to decide on the direction of our lives, either together or seperately. We did not talk for six months but it was a break we desperately needed. And, well since the love and affection is so strong, of course we migrated back to each other. Now we have plenty of time to discuss things and then, he leaves and we each have time to think about the others point of view and it gives us each time to think about "how important is this issue?, can I live with this part of his/her personality?"It just works well. We get along wonderfully now and I really have no intention of living with him again in the near future. We were married at a very young age with kids already in the picture so this is our time to figure out what each of us want. But if you are divorced because the one wants to experiement sexually, or with drugs or something hurtful to the other person, all that does is bring up old hurts and that means it is doomed.

First depends if the religion allows, 2ndly if the 2 of u are caught under some circumstances and if you 2 have no problem with each other - than I think it's ok. (When they are married, they tend to have misunderstanding & sumtimes end quarrelling & lastly divorce. But after divorce, they seems to forget to quarrel!!)

Sure. I don't see the rationale that they must be separated after divorced. They can still be good friends. It's always better to have one more friend than one more enemy.
