Cocoa butter is the best moisturiser to help prevent stretch marks.
It is however the muscle tone in your body that either reduces or increases stretch marks. If you have a firm well toned belly you are not as likely to get them. Try to eat sensibly and do light exercises throughout aqua aerobics and swimming are good whilst pregnant. You can also get stretch marks after having the baby, if you lose weight too quickly they will appear, so eat regularly after having your bundle of joy, and after your six weeks start doing some exercises. Oh yes and don't forget to do your pelvic floor exercises as you don't want to end up with a weak bladder!!! Congratulations and good luck for your future

While cocoa butter rub downs, keeping your weight in check, and keeping hydrated (by drinking lots of water) are all good ways to try preventing stretch marks, the truth is, if you're meant to have them, you're going to get them and there isn't much you can do about it.. I gained 11 pounds with my 1st child and lubed up my belly every day for 9 months streight and I still got a few here and there.. I "earned" a few more to add to my collection with my 2nd pregnancy and quite frankly, I'm kinda glad I did. I see them now not as "a flaw in my design", but instead as a symbol of motherhood. They remind me that I have been blessed with two beautiful little girls. I've even dubbed my stretch marks, my "tiger stripes".. Sure, they're not exactly "sightly" to most people and all women see them as just another nuisance that comes with being pregnant.. But with time, they'll fade away some and eventually they'll even "grow on you." Trust me, sweetie.. Stretch marks are a small price to pay when you have a brand new life in your arms to care for and love unconditionally for the rest of your life.

Both nutrition and the condition of the skin influence whether or not stretch marks will form, and their severity. Skin that is well hydrated and healthy stretches more easily. Therefore, drinking a lot of water and eating nutritious food is vital. Specific nutrients that effect elasticity include vitamins C and E, and zinc. Silica, which contributes to collagen formation, is also helpful.

Use cocoa butter. Or there are other special lotions out there that keep the skin firm. So then when you give birth the skin retains it elasticity and sometimes prevent your skin from sagging to. Stretch marks are a pain!!!! If you use them then it may help a bit hun/

moisturise and keep your skin moisturised specially during the last term of pregnancy as its where your baby will be at its full growth and believe me that hurts when your skin is try.
while i was pregnant i used a body cream that i make my self and as a result i had no stretch marks after pregnancy or that sagging to the skin that you get when your tummy starts to shrink back to its normal size. i now sell it on my eBay shop if you are interested visit http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pips-Products
other wise always moisturise. good luck

Drink alot of water and apple juice. Rub Cocoa butter on your belly all the time. Make sure that your belly is always moisturized. Don't scratch your tummy when it itches. Eat healthy foods and try to exercise. There are certain types of workouts that are specifically designed for pregnant women.

think there is no way to avoid stretch marks, unless (see 2)
1) If you are thinner, your skin will be stretched and upon delivery, the extra skin will be flappy. (Think of rubber band)
2) If you are fuller in nature, likely u might not be getting any stetch marks.

I used a moisturiser from the Avent future mother range called Indulgent body cream - also the moisturising light oil is good too. Use is as soon as you find out you are pregnant until three months after giving birth. You can get it from Boots.
