Benadryl is non-narcotic and, therefore, not chemically addictive. They may be, for you, psychologically addictive. Benadryl is usually the active ingredient in OTC sleep meds. I would suggest gradually cutting back over the course of a couple of weeks and trying to sleep without taking them. I work at night and take these OTC sleep meds as well in order to sleep during the day. However, I find that if I'm really tired or just feeling relaxed I don't need them. Good Luck! :)

maximum OTC sleep aids comprise benadryl. that's what's in Tylenol PM too. the least confusing, maximum low-cost thanks to purchase it quite is to purchase Wal*mart's Equate hypersensitive reaction pills. They comprise 25 mg of benadryl, and also you may take a million or 2 and sleep o.ok.. they do now not seem addicting and do not reason any complications over the lengthy-time period. the only difficulty with them is they could reason your mouth to be a contact dry, and some people ***** of feeling drowsy day after on the on the spot. in the experience that they make it extra effortless to, use them.
