This takes me back to the days of cartridge composition. The typical DS card is composed of flash RAM for saving your game, and ROM to hold the game. However, some cards use ROM only, which do not have any saving capabilities.

The game that probably has the largest flash RAM is Nintendogs, because it needs to save sounds of your voice alongside the game data.
