I would not put Roberto Carlos and Lampard on this team. those two were actuallyu the only shining sars of their team. Maybe they were not on the score sheet but they played with heart.
ZIDANE though on top of the list. Instead of this great skill that is what I will remember him for.

Not only is that incredibly insulting, to anyone, WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE NAMES THAT ARE ON THAT LIST? Lets see...keeper who is tied for the most shut-outs in world cup history (Barthez), one of the best defenders in the game, now on the way out, but in his youth delighted crowds, and who many think had the best free kick ever against France in 1998 (not in the world cup, before the tournament) (Roberto Carlos), the back-to-back FIFA World Player of the Year (Ronaldinho), a player who was instrumental in Englands attack, and although he didnt make any, which is embarrasing, he still got off more shots than anyone ELSE in the tournament (Lampard), and MICHAEL OWEN, ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Let's see, apart from scoring one of the world's best all-time goals, in England's quarterfinal against Argentina in France 98, he has scored nearly 40 goals for England, almost a goal every two matches, and lets not forget his late goals against Arsenal to get the presigious F.A. Cup (Michael Owen), then there is the player who was the Dutch Player of the year twice in a row, and would go on to score 25 goals while Man U won the Premeirship, he also has scored more goals than anyone else in European Football, third all time in goals scored during the Europeans Champions Cup, and also scoring in all group matches during Euro 2004 (van Nistelrooy). And Adriano? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am not even going to do him. And ZIDANE??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? So what, he knocked down a guy who was touching him, annoying the hell out of him, and insulting perhaps not only him, but his family and his country and his roots. Now, I am not justifying what he did, it was wrong, very wrong. But are you telling me you would of done differently? One of the main reasons it is getting so much attention is because that was his last match. Now, if this 'list' is based on how they did in this last world cup, why are Barthez and Owen on there (Barthez allowed three goals, one of them on a penalty kick, in 7 matches, Owen's legs gave out on him completely)??? And if it is not based on the previous world cup, then what the hell are Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Lampard, Van Nistelrooy, and Adriano doing on there? huh?
Edit (after reading dorian gray's): You are pathetic. Roberto Carlos??? One of the worst defenders in the world??? LAMPARD AND LJUNBERG TWO OF THE WORST MIDFIELDERS?? AND DWIGHT YORKE!!! ITS F*CKING DWIGHT YORKE!!! WITHOUT HIM, BAHRAIN WOULD HAVE BEEN HERE INSTEAD OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO! DID YOU REALLY WANT THAT???

Zidane makes one BIG mistake and Barry Bonds did what he does and Kobe did what he did and it is o'k for their records to called great and the 3 time player of the year in the WORLD doesn't get the same consideration? What is wrong with you people? I would like someone to say something about your mother and sister and see you not care.
