I loved a man wholly and completely, madly and deeply. He had two beautiful young sons and I worshiped all three of them.
He went back east break the news to his mother that he was going to marry me.
I suggested that he drive home to spend sometime with his two boys. On the way back, a truck swerved onto his side of the road and he was killed.
(Thank God, the boys were safe for the exception of the eldest having a broken arm)
He was my one true love. And I simply have no interest in ever falling in love again.
I have loved and lost.
The question is... is it worth the pains?
God, yes!
My life without Devon...
.... even if only the memory of him...
the memory of curling up at his side on the couch to watch the fire in the pit dance; or laying on my back with his boys on either side pointing out stars with a flashlight; his hand on the small of my back; his deep, musky scent when he comes back in from working with the horses...
... I can not imagine my life without those memories.
I wouldn't want my life without those memories.

We all should!!!!!Love-Pain...Pain-Love......With true love comes true pain.....That is the nature of love. One can only be hurt by someone he truly, madly, deeply loves. The more you love the more pain it can be....Don't let this be a bad thing. All I'm saying is that love is a risk worth taking. Love like there is no tomorrow. Don't ever play games or hold back. Life is too short and too precious. When you find that "ONE" true love- love her with all your heart and never let her go....then you will have discovered the true meaning of LIFE:)

True love is, yes. But most of what passes for love these days in our society has very little to do with real love.

I wasn't thinking too much if it is worth it or not... it is, as it is, pain, no pain, one has to go the way of love - there is no other choice!
