She's only 3 mos old. She just beginning to figure out that her hands are attached to the rest of her and that she can move them around at will. She won't be good at controling them for a while yet. Yeah, you may accidently get head butted or whacked a few times as your little one learns to control her body. Let her see that it hurts you so that, once she does gain more control, she won't think it's a game.

Mine hits me all the time, lol. He is four months and we are co-sleeping and I get hit in the face in the middle of the night. It seems that his movements are so jerky and I am constantly getting hit or scratched. My doc says that this is normal though because he is trying to develop better muscle control.

My son did the same thing, I asked his Dr. about it. Your daughter doesn't have fine coordination skill yet, she's trying to touch you or the toy. She isn't actually trying to "hit" you, she just doesn't know how to be gentle yet. She'll pick it up. My son began to be softer around 6-7 months old. He's almost 1 yr. now, and he's pretty much done with that. Good luck!!

they do it for reation at the mo all u can is just say a firm no, if shes playing she will think its hilarious when she sees u say ouch or whatever.
but all children do it, just count to ten cause when some one hurts u no matter who it is u instant reflex is to lash out but dont.
as soon as she hurts you put her down and walk away. try not let her see any reaction from you.
she will grow out of it

That's part of being a mom. Your child is trying to fins our how far she can throw things but don't worry nothing serious. Better give her something soft so it hits you, it wont be that painful.
