I completely agree with you in that Materazzi is one vile despicable bastard for having made those racist and very personal comments about Zidane and his family members. But what's this about "wiping his ***??" I think he should have his *** kicked and beaten down every which way, but why would you want to wipe it?

In any case, I hope he gets mobbed and assaulted by a group of angry fans that despise racism in professional sports as much as I do. There is no justice quite like "street justice."

I also want to point out to Italians and their supporters that what most of you are doing in defending Materazzi is absolutely as disgusting as what Materazzi himself did to Zidane. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this goes well beyond simple trash-talking between a couple of athletes. Materazzi went way over the line! Here in the United States if one of our professional sports athletes made such vile racist remarks as Materazzi did, he would ultimately be forfeiting his career. I believe soccer fans worldwide should unite to take up the cause against racism and let these horrendous bigots like Materazzi know that there is no place for them and their hate on the field of play.

PS - I've provided the link to the article that reveals Materazzi did infact direct those despicable comments at Zidane.

You have never talked **** in a game before? Then you are not human. Besides all he said was. To the shirt Zidane offered after the game with an insulting tone, Materazzi said I rather get it off your sister.
So what. And Zidane is supposed to be seasoned veteran. He is a seasoned villain. Check out his career. It is full of trophies and suspension for similar actions.

I think that this is becoming totally out of control. The Italians were being called wops and worse - did they resort to violence? No - Zidane did - and has done before and this time on an international stage. He is a good player - but being as good player is not ONLY kicking a ball around - you have to be worthy of representing the country you are picked to play for and he is not, they lost (and they were not the best in the qualifying rounds) but with this incident they lost with dishonour. Apologies are not enough (it might have been if this was the first time it happened but it is not). why does nobody EVER mention the other times he has done this - is he being racially insulted EVERY time he head buts another player?????????
