I thought he was doing that purposefully to create an atmosphere of doubt and speculation against Materazzi and well it has worked hasn't it.
If what Materazzi said was so damn insulting Zidane should have opened his mouth straight away and immediate action should have been taken.
I don't like the fact that he waited so long and it also makes me wonder if the insult was indeed so bad (yes yes Zidane said it was about his mother and his sister) otherwise why wait so long.

Because STUPID MASS MEDIA made him talk. I thought that he wouldn't because if Materazzi had insulted him, those words would have sticked to Zidane forever. That's why he didn't want to disclose word said about his family. I believe Zidane doesn't want people talk about this at all.

Of course that creates doubts...Anyway he got 14 red cards in his career,and that wasn't the first time he headbut's a player.I don't understand why everyone is trying to find him excuses.Above all he is a person not a God of football.His gesture was lack of fair-play\respect for his team.He sure needs anger management,because football has nothing to do with violence!!!
