Hi, I'll be hittin up the greece area and plan on going to some clubs...prolly high scale...my friends informed me they wear clothing like we do here in the US...jeans,nice button up shirt, but sneakers....is jeans,buttonup shirt and sneakers acceptable...or should I role up in a 4 piece?

Please do NOT wear sneakers!!! Unless they are really cool "lifestyle" sneakers, like the ones from Puma, Goa, Adidas. Don't wear sneakers that you'd actually do sports in!!
Jeans are fine. But if it's hot (and it likely will be) think about weaing linen slacks - together with a somewhat tight tee-shirt that looks way better than jeans and a button-down!
You may notice that the "beautiful people" here in Europe, including guys, tend to wear clothes that accentuate their figures more than Americans do. That means shirts are a bit tighter, and not buttoned up all the way. Or as an alternative, you can wear a tee-shirt with something cool written on it, but the tee should be well fitted, not too baggy.
And don't be afraid to style your hair - use styling products to really accent your hairstyle.
To sum up - don't be afraid to really style yourself - and look really good! Have fun!
