Strange as it may seem I enjoy them all, particularly ironing, I find it very relaxing. I am a 51 year old male & have 2 sons, 21 & 22, living at home, I do all the washing, ironing & cooking for them. The reason for this is that my wife died last year & I do all of this to try to maintain her very high standards, I think our boys have enough to cope with without worrying about household chores.
Is that strange??

I hate grocery shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my husband and I first got married, I was looking forward to doing the shopping. You know, being able to shop for your own house for the first time. Well, the first time I did, I went over seven dollars, and I bowored the money from my sister-in-law. No problem I said, I will give it to you when I get home. Well my husband bitched about it, but gave her the money.

Well, the second time I went shopping I went over again. This time instead of getting the money from his sister again, I took out the beer, and a couple of other items. This time he was really po'ed about it. So I said I would never do the shopping again. To this day I don't do it. I drive him to the store, and he goes and get's the groceries. I just walk around the store and pick up things I want. He doesn't drive, you see, so in away I still go to the store, but I don't do the shopping. We have now been married for thirty five years, and I still won't do it. If I have to pick up some stuff I do, but for the full blown shopping, he does it.

I love cleaning my house, and I do mow the lawn, but my husband also does the gardening. He planted some tomatoes, and cucumbers, and some squash. About three years ago he planted some strawberries, and I will pick those, but he does the rest.
He is now disabled. He had a knee replacement surgery done last year, and then about two months after that he had another surgery done on his eyes. He went blind in his left eye. He can see some now, but it won't be back to what it used to be. So now I also take care of him. He can not bend over from the waist for the rest of his life, because of his eye. So I have to be like a drill sergant. Then the day before father's day he broke his foot. So he is just an accident waiting to happen.
Even though all of this has happened to him, he helps around the house. He will do dishes, clean up some, and he does his own laundry, which he has done for years. He also cooks supper.
But for the major cleaning of the house, he trys to help, but I like having the house smell clean, and I have a habit of moving everything when I clean. I rearanged a lot. But at least I know it's clean. I don't iron much, unless I have to. I try to fold everything as soon as it comes out of the drier. If I hang things out, I alos fold them right from the line, and if something needs to be ironed, then I do it, but cleaning is what I like best and grocery shopping is the worst.
I know I rambled on, sorry about that, but had to get the story out, and tell you why. You were looking for short answers, but I like to talk. Thanks for asking this question, and you have a great night.

You do extra have time than he does. you also want some help because you're an finished time worker on the interest and at living house. Take the Laundry out of your equation- One answer that works is to take your laundry in to be executed. You drop it in the morning and %. it up that afternoon or the subsequent evening. it extremely works large and extremely isn't that a lot extra, plus it saves you a lot time, the garments are folded and in a position to be positioned away. you could positioned his away or go away them for him to positioned away. provide your self a cleansing ruin and nevertheless shop the living house valuable- yet another large element is to have a area time living house keeper for faster or later. this can be once a week, once each 2 weeks or once a month. try to be shocked how a lot even as quickly as a month will do to shop issues so as, rather once you've the laundry deal. The very last effective hint is to have a dine in/dine out evening once each 2 weeks. It enables you both some jointly time, no dishes for freshen up and no time spent cooking. it should be relaxing, romantic or fresh-that's as a lot as you 2. you should even use it as time to devise what you'll do the subsequent month and nevertheless not interfer too a lot such as his artwork undertaking time. What you do not want is to get so piled with each of the artwork that youresent being the spouse, the cook dinner, the each thing and nevertheless bringing living house the bread! you also do not opt to nag and strive against because you both will resent one yet another. Have a plan and some expenditures waiting once you develop this difficulty so that you both can verify out it in a useful mild. i'm praying for you both.

Almost all of them. I have a lady who cleans for me. No, I am not a lazy tart, I need the cleaning done, and she needs the money. I like gardening, I do that myself, and shopping, and cooking, especially when my friends come for dinner. I do the laundry and only iron things when I need them.

I really dislike all of them, except perhaps cooking! And, that's only when I feel like doing it! Out of the list though, I think I hate ironing the most.

If I stop to think how much I hate, then I just want to not do anything. Probably ironing, I used to iron every thing. Now I just throw the wrinkled object (excluding myself) into the dryer with a really damp wash cloth.

I loathe cleaning. If I could, I would have a maid service in here twice a week. Laundry...I don't mind sorting, washing and drying; it's the putting it away that I hate.
