I suspect part of this is actually evolutionary. We are evolved to have to make quick decisions and particularly to have to make survival decisions without all the potential data being available.

Being able to decide whether to kill a weakened mammoth without knowing for example exactly how it was wounded, it's exact muscle strength, it's age and motivation to survive obviously would give our ancestors a survival advantage over pondering it forever and starving to death (crude example but you get what I mean)

We've moved on, but the tendency to assume things persists.

hello Shine, it is because they and are keeping a closed mind. Some people are so use to you blanking up that they just don't know how to handle you when you're not blanking up a oh yeah! Lord forbid that you get any better than them financially, physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. Signed born2damromantic

First impressions are lasting. And usually can never be changed no matter what you do. People love drama and someones speckled past is great for that.

Because they are immature....Some people love getting into others business just for the fun of it to cause trouble and others just don't have anything better to do.....................Be proud of yourself and that you have changed your ways............the others will catch up and get a clue one day then again maybe they won't....At least you know what you want now so don't let them get to you

It takes time till they notice the changes... they will appreciate it later.
Why are you so concerned about what others think about you?
