Sure have! Out of body experiences (OBE, astral projection) are rather common around times of stress, shock, or other extreme emotional times. Try searching on yahoo, there are some great sites explaining what it is, and how to do it. A few good sites are:

Good question. I know there are people that say they have had an out of body experience. I know of no scientific evidence of such an event. However, I recall completely an experience I had many years ago that certainly seemed like an out of body experience. I recall having a very severe nightmare (thankfully something I seldom experience) and I became aware at some level of consciousness of having the nightmare. So, I tried to "wake" up! I remember trying to open my eyes to escape the nightmare...to get away. I even tried to sit up in bed. It was as if some force was pushing me down and keeping my eyes shut. Finally, with all my strength I pushed myself away from the nightmare, and I remember opening my eyes and turning around to see myself still asleep in bed. At that second, I awoke in bed with my head on the pillow. Weird, huh? I didn't take any drugs, drink or eat anything unusual. Frankly, all of the nightmare, including the "out of body" experience could have been imagined...part of the dream. I honestly do not know. I find it hard to believe on any level that I left my body, but it certainly seemed as if I had.

I am not sure if you could call it an out of body exp. but when I was young child I remember falling off the couch. I never landed! It was only like maybe 2 feet, but I was suspended in air. I could see myself from above and remember thinking... ohhh that might hurt! My momma walked into the room and hollered at me.. what are you doing????? It broke the spell or what ever you want to call it and I came down with an easy thud! I thought it was a dream. But everytime I tried to mention it to my momma she would say" Hush!" I often wonder about that! I have had other strange things happen along the yrs but thats the closest I can think of to out of body.

I have had MANY beginning with the agre of 15....it was physically paralyzing and felt as though a train was running though me....then the softest hing happened...i lifted OUT of my body and ethereally left my ectoplasm...to which....I turned back around and saw myself lying there....I had NO contrrol at that point...oftne it would happen and I would have to 'ground ' myself by holdong ontop someone else sleeping. it waws as though I was summonsed to somewhere else.....it began to happen while not meditating.I would be reading and then lift UP AND out of my body...it became tiresome....I had no point of reference.
I have been in minot=r and majour surgery and it has happened where they would ose me jn thetable...while having a C-ection. I saw what impliments they were using...how many attendants, and the dialogue...after telling my femme friends.....some had been through I though it was actually mre prevalent....I have had precognitive experiences this way...other times, just the ethereal leaving of my body.....I cannot say that 8i am fnd of itl..how ever, yes, It DOES hgappen to me, as does automatic handwritiung...even at the keyboard....in a language I do not yet for sure know......I do NOT feel possessed...ther e8is a gift herre...i remain....a conduit.....and so it goes...everyione whio experience this has a reasion for it happening.....I see otherw over to the other side as welll ...belive me or nt...it is the truth. o look forward to others stories of this happening to them....trust me, I did NOT write all of this toappear tangentiual or a nut of some kind.....it IS the truth...one that I cannot fathoim why it happewns...however it does....Lastly, being he eldest of MANY children....I never nce thgought to ask if any of them had had it happen......well my (one of them) brother does have ths happen,...our experiences are different, thogh he was shocked to find out that myself at 15 and hi latently, have thgis happen...quite eerie precog.....I leave ut here...thank you....

Yes i have and its more normal than what people care to admit. Being a professional psychic with over 30 years experience and my husband is a psychic published author on the subjects of paranormal and spiritual worlds, i will only say this one time but "ITS NOT A DISORDER" it's a "subconscious mental state of mind". I hope this helps with your question. on my profile i do have our website and you can view the different things we do.
