Check out www.mckenziemdt.org This is a technique that I have been using for a few years now and it can really work. You can even put in your zip code and find out where your nearest therapist is for more specific advice regarding your condition.
The main advantage of this is that you can take control of your pain without becoming reliant upon chiropractors.
Otherwise stick to ice and anti inflammatory medications.
Good luck!

Well, I would always suggest gentle stretching exercises and/or Chiropractic treatment. Drugs only mask pain, they don't cure it.
Chiropractors have a new treatment now called Pro Adjustor, which is kind of a laser-guided therapy and it eliminates the sometimes painful and jerking-type adjustments a Chiropractor makes.
If you can't afford Chiro treatments or your insurance doesn't pay for them, them. then I would strongly suggest a gravity-inversion table. I see these are available at Walmart for about $150.00 w/taxes. You get on and swing yourself in an upside down or partially upside-down position. It elongates the spine and elimintes pressure and irritation.
Massage therapy is good, also, but is only a temporary relief as it only brings blood flow to the area temporarily. The stretching exercises do the same thing.
An exercise ball where you can sit on it and gently do semi, slow crunches would help too.
I prefer the inversion because it works and you can use it on a daily basis.
You can also treat yourself with an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory such as Advil (or its generic). taking up to 6 tablets twice a day, on a full stomach.
This isn't a long-term treatment, however, as it will cause stomach irritation or ulcers eventually.
If all else fails, try a heating pad or an ice pack, whichever feels best to you. Sometimes people also alternate ice and heat, 10 on-10 off, for an hour.
Try to avoid surgery at all costs, unless your doctor tells you that you have a condition that warrants it.

Assuming that it's not some form of infection or a sign of a more serious condition, you can always drop into a chiropractor's office.
Find a decent one that won't try to pitch chiropractic (or some strange concoction) as the answer to everything.
The chiropractor should take an X-ray and be able to see what's up. S/he should then start massage and corrections, sudden swift moves which help re-align the spinal column.
S/he should also make suggestions as far as stretching etc. go.
This only applies if you have a slipped disc. If it's herniated or damaged, you will need to see a regular doctor. They may apply steroid treatments or, if the case is serious enough, surgery.
Short answer: Find out exactly what's wrong by talking to a doctor.

Do NOT randomly remove programs, especially system programs like MS net. You will end up with a trashed machine. Programs do not take up much space. Stored files do, especially videos, followed by music, photos and then large spreadsheets or databases. You will need to delete some of those.
