If nuclear countries keep doing underground nuclear testing, the earth will surely be destroyed one day with all the unstability that these blasts cause inside the Earth's core.

Here is a possible scenario: Maybe after enough time goes by, the sun will nova, and the earth and the other planets will be sucked into it and burnt up.... It kinda fits with the Bible's description of how things are going to play out. According to it, the Antichrist, the False Prophet and all who were deceived by them , those that received the mark of the beast (the devil and all his angels) will be eventually thrown into the Lake of Fire along with death and hell (or the grave). So, the earth, (where all the graves are with its firey core or hell), will be sucked into the sun's larger & greater ball of fire when the sun Novas... thusly death and hell will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Only those who have become pure will be making the spiritual migration to their new heaven and earth.

earth might get distroyed due to collision with a comet
OR
human beings themselves may destroy it by using weapons of mass destruction like nuclear bombs
OR
it is believed that every star has some life after which it expands for some time and then collapses.Sun is also a star which will enter this phase and start expanding and since earth is quite nearer to sun will get sucked inside sun or get destroyed due to high temperaturs and become a part of it.after this sun will also collapse

To me there's two parts:First, the sun will eventually grow to a point where it's radiation will strip the atmosphere of all it's elements.Once the sun starts to shrink to a white dwarf, the earth begins to cool, leaving behind a "destroyed"earth, incapable of reproducing life again, since our sun will be to cool and to far away....Many billions of years pass and by then the super massive black hole at the center of our Milky Way spiral galaxy, may have drawn in the earth and sun,to the point in which it tears them apart, towards the singularity, again the earth becoming "destroyed"once more...tom science

Yes, the earth will collapse towards its center of gravity creating an explosion. Since the earth has a reactive nucleus, when all that energy that emanates from the center the crust will get hotter and the center warmer. Forget about global warming, after we are gone the earth will still exist.

Of course it's possible. Think about all the moving things in our galaxy. They can hit each other. Our planet shows evidence that we have already been hit by several things. So does the moon, look at it on a full moon night. You can see the scars without binoc's. Chances are this planet will still be here for a very long time to come.

maybe. it could be due to many reasons like a meteor impact or even self destruction.

there is one posiibility that the sun (after a million years from now) could gobble up the earth as it swells up to a red giant star.
