Theory is that unlike normal the pregnant body will optimize the temperature for the baby. This makes the temperature of the mother to be fluctuate a bit. No biggy, we are talking minimal changes but it happens.

Why theory then? In a 'normal' body there are also fluctuations.

actually there is a change in basal body temperature right when ovulation is about to occur...otherwise it tends to remain normal through out pregnancy

personal experiance: it adapts to a comfortable level. I never needed a jacket in the winter or a tank top in the summer, and I live in the desert.

your hands and feet may feel warmer due to the 40 - 50 percent blood volume circulating around ur body, its completely normal.

dont go by what we say but i know mine has'nt stayed the same and im 3 months pregnant!
