Different people have different preferences, it's not just a Christian thing. Technically, a Christian isn't supposed to participate in anything that doesn't bring glory to God, but of course we are humans. I have some family members that don't watch Disney movies for the same reason they don't watch rated R movies and I have no idea why that is.

I don't think that theres anything wrong, in fact hope more people, more cultures can see movies without predjudge what they don´t have seen yet.
Films are art, and Art is a human expression, so from that point, no human expression should be repressed for another.
