"Your roots" can only be defined by you. Kind of like "where you're from."

I go back home (Texas) about once a year or so. My family has moved to different parts of the state, but I still go to my hometown to see about four close friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I will never move back there, but I like to take a few days and get back to a slower pace and catch up over a few beers. I love Las Vegas and the 24 hour town, but it's good to step back and remember where you came from.

No, I still remember how I hated living in the hills with no city luxuries. It's a nice place to visit but I don't wanna live more than 2 blocks from a 7-11 or more than 5 miles from Walmart.

Roots eh? In biblical terms that would be "The Garden of Eden." In more abstract terms it would be, maybe Africa or Europe. I think most of us would agree our Roots stem from right here in the good ol U.S of A! So, as I see it, I'm still attatched to my "ROOTS"!

No. You can never really go home again because things change so much. But I love to visit my roots as often as possible.

did it and glad. missed city life and conveniences at first but wouldn't trade what i have now for a bit of it. and all that stuff i thought was just silly back-woods stupidity? well...having my nice formal higher education taught me that those silly ways had more common sense and practical use than i'd ever dreamed.
