Also I live in canada and well, I always here everyone saying how much they hate americas. Just to let you americas know that you may think we dont hate you just aswell as we think you dont hate us. But in reality i pretty sure we just as well suited as rivals.

No I don't. I think the Canadians and Brits have better governing policies then we do right now. They certainly have a better Social Security system.

I don't believe Americans think Canadians are stupid and vice versa..........Are you trying to get something started? Couldn't you have researched your thought and come up with the opposite question? Try a little harder next time!

Americans are seen as stupid because we are narcissistic, materialistic, capitalistic, narrow minded, unenlightened pigs. Canadians are seen as stupid because they are different than Americans. Due to the unenlightened narrow mindedness of American society, we criticize and condescend to anything that is different than us. In our minds, your are less than us unless you are the same as us. Because USA #1 The US is unwilling to acknowledge the sensibility of Canadian policy governing the criminal justice, psychological illness and medical treatment available there. We imprison millions for marijuana in the US, not because it hurts people, but because it generates tax revenue. Our elderly are having to buy prescription meds. from Canada in order to afford to stay alive!
Plus Americans think Canadians are stupid because Canadians say "aboot" and "Hoser", plus lumberjacks are seen as gay.
More concisely, the is little difference in the two, except the US has gone crazy with power and cant think straight. Canada has been there all the while not bothering anyone and getting on with a nice life. Same people, different lifestyles.

Canada lives in the shadow of the colossus. It is natural for a certain amount of resentment shed both ways. We look at each other and say look at that! Ted and Steve tied the knot and smoked dope together and then were busted by Moslem fundamentalists for violating sharia law. Ted is from Quebec and has a tendency to wander in the direction of France while Steve is from Calgary. This is a sterotype not meant to offend, it is a montage of things canadian that have caused me to say What?

Oh, come now, I don't believe that! I'm not sure about the rest of America, but in Minnesota, we adore the Canadians just as we love our own.... I think its for the love of hockey. I've got much love for Canadians, unless your a Vancouver Canucks fan... Then, well, you can imagine!

Because we have it so good here, we have enough time to lob petty insults back and forth. Meanwhile, people starve under brutal dictatorships, which ARE actually stupid.

Because we are so much alike,similar to two brother's fighting all the time but deep down really care for each other.
Also with a billion dollars in trade everyday there are lots of reasons to get on each others nerves.

I am American and I don't think Canadians are stupid. I think they are smart! They have a great socialist education system if anything about socialism can be called great. And why do they think I am stupid? Jealousy of the greatest country in the world and what they read in their socialist/communist newspapers...

I don't think Canadians are stupid, and I don't believe that most Canadians think Americans are stupid.
I think thats a gross generalization that most people don't feel is true.
