Try to do really well in college and save the partying for after graduation. A good career path can make your life a lot more enjoyable down the road. Start early and pick a good major that will make you marketable after graduation.

Wear sunblock when out in the sun for more than a few minutes (esp in places like Cali where the sun is intense). You'll prevent skin cancer and keep your youthful looks longer (you'll look much younger, eventually, than you are).

start investing your money early, and don't be foolish with it. Start saving for your retirement while you are under 26, the money you invest at that age for retirement is gold, because of the compounding of many years.

Avoid smoking and alcohol, they lead to tragic consequences.

don't be having sex before marriage (for lots of good reasons, the best of which is you really want to save yourself for that special one, and if they are special enough, you will).

Get right with God through Jesus Christ and follow and obey Him for the rest of your life and you'll never be sorry.

tell your family and friends (esp your immediate family) very regularly that you love them, you never know when will be the last time you'll see them.

Graduate from college.

Take up some fun sport (if you don't now) like basketball, etc. to keep yourself healthy and fit. Stretch (especially your legs) before you play so you don't hurt or tweak anything. Recent studies also show that aerobic types of exercise (and basketball is one) sharpen your mind more than anything else.

Eat right, stay fit, be humble, when asked a direct question, give a direct answer, acquire the ability to shut up and listen rather that wait to speak, respect your elders, whoever they are. Say "may I please have" rather than "I want" or "give me". Say please, and thank you, and your welcome regularly. Never for get to stop, unplug yourself from everyone, and appreciate the environment all around you. Stare into space at night. watch a sunrise regularly. Love your children, respect your parents. Be good to yourself. Try to avoid plastic surgery. Indulge your fantasies no matter how strange they may seem. Love someone, Be hurt by someone(you'll find out why later). Travel as often as possible. Love and enjoy the gift of life.

Don't let your true love get away. The one who is always your "friend" never your "boyfriend". The one who has always been there for you and hangs out when he knows you have a date just to check the guy out to make sure he's good enough for you. The one who you won't realize you love until it's too late.

Hang in there. Have fun. Never give up on your dreams. Go to college and reach your potential. Don't settle. Use a condom.
