If you have the kind of job that your presence or absence really doesn't matter, it doesn't matter if you do or don't go. However, somebody has hired you to do some kind of job for him/her, and I bet your absence would cause someone else a hardship, which the boss won't think well of you for not coming to work just because you made a bad decision and decided to stay up till 2 A.M. When we take a job, one of our personal committments should be to always be there, no matter what, unless of course we legitimately have fever/and/or an infection, or a close relative or friend dies or is ill and needs our care. And of course if you don't really want the job, not going would be a good choice for you. You can always go to bed early tomorrow night to get rested to go back the next day. Usually we aren't as positive nor as bright as we could be if we rested enough, but sometimes we have to fake it till we can make it. Get up and go! Or don't! Whatever your conscience tells you!

Yes, you should go to work. Get off the Internet now. You can only stay up late and do this if it does not interfere with your rest and wake up time. Be responsible. You will make it. Be sure to eat a light breakfast so you are not sluggish during the day. good luck.

Yes, go to work and the fake a migraine headache and go home!!
Done it before and it works great. Plus, as long as you work 2 hrs at most companies, you are considered present for the whole day!!!

Call in, you only live once. You should make a day out of it. Something to remember. First thing, buy a disposable camera. Second pretend you're in Vegas! Third, make sure no one from work sees you. Fourth, tell us about it.

You didn't state a reason for calling in to work. Sickness, or what. If we don't believe there is a good cause for it here, then neither will your employer.
