and still collects it and even plays it?! How old are you? Is it normal for 21 years old lady to play Barbie dolls?

Play away and feel as normal as thousands, and thousands of others - world wide. I am 57 and love Barbie and other "fashion dolls." Mattel, Integrity, Tonner, and other manufacturers count on people like us to keep their cash registers ka-chinging.
There are collectors who collect vintage Barbies from the 60's and others who focus on dolls from their generation. Others buy yes and PLAY with modern issue dolls, both the cheap play line, and the more expensive collector and silkstone editions.
There are discussion and chat boards where we post pictures of our dolls, dioramas, fashions. Many sell one of a kind clothing and prices often outpace human sized clothing.

I never had a doll as a little girl, we were very poor. I used to make dolls out of our towels and other make to do dolls. When I got married, I mentioned this to my husband I was 36 years old at the time. One afternoon he came home with a Barbie doll- it was my very first doll, and it was Barbie. I am50 years old now and still have my first and only doll doll I have ever own. To answer your question, no one is too old to have or play with Barbie doll.

No. Barbies suck. I stopped playing with dolls when I was 2. If you're 21 you really need to grow up or get some help... or get laid. You are way to old to be playing with Barbies! I don't think it's normal. You should be out drinking and having fun.. not playing with dolls!

It's normal I think. I'm 22 I was still asking for barbies up until I was 21. When I babysit little girls I still move their legs and arms. My favorites are the ones that can bend at their knees and elbows!

Well I don't collect them but I kinda do play with them like I do their hair and dress them up, girl your not the only one.

Love them, used to have the dream house, town house, cruise liner, blue camper, Tuesday Taylor's ski chalet, skipper, etc.
Still like to look at them in the store, they have the coolest outfits and accessories today.
