Professional wrestling is not fake, but it is usually scripted and exaggerated. For example, a slam against a table usually occurs at the table's weakest point, resulting in little injury.
Sometimes a wrestler will deviate from the script. Usually that is a bad career move as they tend to be eased out of the league.
