The *only* way to conceive is to have sex just before the woman ovulates. You can know when you are ovulating by charting signs of fertility. For details on how to do this, read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. (Hint: It has nothing to do with waking up at 4 am as one person here always suggests. In fact, waking up at 4 am can make it impossible to get pregnant, as you'll be too tired for sex!!)
There is *no* way to know for sure when you will ovulate by counting days from the beginning of your period. You ovulate about 2 weeks (typically 12-16 days) before your *next* period. Your period is *never* late (although ovulation can be--fooling you into thinking your period is late); it *always* follows ovulation by the same 12-16 days (whatever is normal for *you*).
So, if you have 34 day cycles, you probably ovulate between days 18 and 22. If you have 26 day cycles, ovulation is most likely between days 10 and 14.
Sperm can live in the female body up to 3-5 days if conditions are right; otherwise, they die within hours--before you can conceive. (Some women are only fertile for 1 day; others for up to 5.) The egg only lives a few hours. You are most fertile the day before you ovulate, and, by the time you know you have ovulated, it's almost certainly too late to get pregnant that cycle.
But for details on all of the above, read the book...

If you have a prolapsed cervix, lady on top is a good position as the sperm can get to the tubes better (due to the angle)
Using a thermometer to take your basal temperature every morning and plotting it on a chart is a good way to show if you are ovulating. Boots to a kit for £12.99 which is really good for this.
laying with legs up for about half an hour , with tilting my hips and pelvis up too.
If the man has gone without for a while then the sperm count is higher and they are stronger this gives a higher chance of falling pregnant.
I have also heard that it helps if the woman has an orgasm as well either just before the man does or even at the same time if you can manage it.

A woman is actually fertile for 24 hours in a month, although the sperm can survive for up to 72 hours inside the female body.
From experience I've found that the discharge as described by Sarah usually came a couple of days after I'd ovulated!!
Try not to think too much about getting pregnant & I swear it will happen sooner than you think!!
It also helps to overcome the disappointment when you start your period.
Don't have sex too often as his sperm supply needs to re-charge to get a full load!!!!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

roughly 14 days from the first day of your last period, but there are so many other ways, an egg can only actually be ferilized 36 hours a month, makes you wonder how there are so many unwanted pregnancy's...
When the discharge is clear, stretchy and slippery,(like egg white) is another sign that you are fertile.

14 days after last period.
don't stress too hard over it because the stress will not help at all.
the male would not have ejaculated every day because that decreases the quality of sperm so try ever 2-3 days.
don't smoke for male and female
don't drink for male and female
keep your body healthy
hope this helps ^^
