It is possible - much less now than even 10 or 15 years ago, though.
In part to prevent such forgery, most states are moving towards plastic cards with magnetic strips. A driver's license used to be just a laminated piece of cardboard - no match for a modern photo editing program.

Absolutely...that is if you live anywhere near Tiajuana, Mexico. That's where everyone from San Diego gets any kind of document and they are almost impossible to detect.

Um, yeah... people have been doing it for years. But it is getting more difficult with the imbedded holograms and other security features. Good thing.
