I understand the pain you would have been going through. But you need to move on with your life. No point in keep thinking about her or spoiling your health and future over her - who is not interested in your well being. Just forget her (I know- it is tough, but you need to do it). Engage yourself in many other productive works, study, read, enhance your knowledge, find new friends, answer on yahoo, start playing in groups, work, so many things you can engage yourself in. But you need to move on - from this situation. Else, you will lose your self respect, health and future as well.

I am kinda having the same problem as you. Well i live in New Orleans and alot of my closest friends were forced to move away from our hometown because of Hurricane Katrina because the hurricane messed up our homes. Fortunately, me and my family found an apartment down here and we are getting our life back together. But my friends are scattered all around the United States. I try to email them as often as I can, and they do the same. We call each other alot too, but its only so much that we can do. The distance is an issue but i love them and they love me and they know for a fact that they can call me or visit me or anything whenever they want because i am always here for them. But i am in college right now and they have transfered to their different colleges and we all are trying to make the best of our lives as we can. Friendship, if it really is true friendship, can last forever because friends are just like family, minus the bloodline, and friends give each other unconditional love. I know you might feel alot of pain right now and you are hurting because she is not there with you, but you will see that over time you will get through this. She sounds like she will be there for you no matter what so keep the calls going, and keep exchanging emails and your friendship will keep its course. You both have to move on with your lives, and even if that means you have to move on in seperate places, she will always be in your life and heart.

Two of my best friends live thousands of miles from me.
Besides the phone. We chat on Yahoo Messanger and we email each other.
Messanger is especially nice because we can spend a ten minutes here and there through out the day just like we are talking in real life - its sometimes like spending the day together. We are fortunate to be able to keep our computers up and running.

Call her. E-mail her. Visit her. Occupy your mind with something else, like a hobby. Read a good book, take a walk.
