Hey girl... just be proud your a virgin. It's so hard for girls your age to say that. Your doing a great job, and keep it that way! I did the same thing, and I felt like everyone around me was having sex, which they were! I didn't let it get to me though, ya know? I was like, that's not for me right now, I want to wait it out until I find the right person. You don't wan to be out there sleeping around with a bunch of different guys. At 15, you won't be finding your soul mate, so just wait it off. Wait until your older, or better yet wait until your married! It def. will be worth the wait! But if your mom doesn't appreciate it, oh well! As long as your happy and your pleasing yourself! I like when I hear stuff like this from young girls!!! My sister is the same age as you, and she isn't even thinking about boys like that! It makes me so happy that she isn't running around and doing stuff now! She knows she has her whole life, and you def. do too!!! Keep that up girl!!!!! Your def. doing the right thing!!!!!

Maybe your mum does appreciate it, but just doesn't tell you so.
I suggest you carry on your life as you want to live it. I lost my virginity at 16 - it wasn't a horrible experience, but it wasn't the best in my life either. I often wish I'd waited until I'd met the right man, because now I have, and now the experience of making love is wonderful.
I know it sounds a bit corny, but I'd wait until you're sure you'll be "making love", and not just "having sex".
There are not many young people out there like you now, a lot of them just want to lose their virginity as soon as possible - your mum should be proud of you, I would be!
Good luck, and keep up the good work! If there were more people like you out there, there would be less abortions, teenage pregnancies and unwanted babies.

I bet your mother *does* appreciate you but doesn't bother telling you. If you have a sister or brother who gets into trouble, your mother may be so worried about keeping her/him safe that she forgets to let you know how much she loves having you in her family. Or she may have been raised to think that if things are going well, you work on something else rather than showing her appreciation for the people around her.

Oh honey...don''t listen to your mom lol...believe it or not, you are doing the right thing. She should be proud of you instead as these days it's hard to find people who actually "want" to keep their virginity lol. I'm a 17yrs old, virgin and proud ;) And nothing or no one is going to make me do something i don't want to. You are the owner of you own body so feel free to do with it as you please. If she ain't proud of you well it's her loss :p...I definitely am.
Take care.

You're not keeping your virginity for your mother's sake... It's something that you are doing for yourself and your self esteem - to make you feel good about yourself).
Don't worry whether your mom appreciates it or not.

parents are weird. remember that.
they don't always tell you what's in their heart and don't lose your virginity to the first guy that comes along if you think it will please your mom.
do it with a guy you like and hopefully responsibly.
and of course do what's in your heart and don't always obey orders if it's against your morals and values.
trust me, you'll be happy to save it for someone special ^^
