Just relax...I have never heard of anyone having a miscarriage after conception b/c they have sex. Put it this way: I've got four kids and we didn't know for a while and no miscarriages :) If you are pregnant, you will basically live your normal life with a few exceptions: you will need to eat healthier, quit smoking and/or drinking if you haven't already (if you ever did), and start on prenatal vitamins. Go get a copy of What to Expect When You're Expecting (preferably a used copy, just as good as new) and start reading!
Hope you have a beautiful baby!

Hi, periods can be delayed if ur under some sort of stress. so wait sometime n take the test. Well sex after conception can lead to miscarriage only if an infection is introduced. U can do normal house hold work without lifting heavy weights and all. U can walk. In the late pregnancy walking may cause uterine contractions coz it stimulates the hormonal receptors necessary for labor. So u can lead a pretty normal life until late into pregnancy but take gud diet. Gud luk....

There are tests now you can take that will tell you if you are pregnant within 3-5 days of missing your period. I would take one...and then you can go from there. If you are pregant, there is nothing that says you cannot have sex. Unless you have a history of miscarriages, or some other health issue, you can have sex up til you deliver. As for carrying heavy things, you don't have to stay in bed for nine months, but just be careful. Dont exert yourself, but do your normal activities. Go to the doctor for all your prenatal checkups and start taking prenatal vitamins ASAP.

If you are pregnant, *nothing* you do will hurt the pregnancy. You can have sex, lift anything, walk, run, or anything else. Later on, there may be restrictions, but right now, it is fine. In fact, if your period isn't even due yet, the fertilized egg is probably not even part of you physically. It is only during the week up to and including the first day of your missed period that implantation occurs. Until the zygote implants, it is just floating in your Fallopian tube or uterus.

I'm in the same boat! my period was due almost 2 weeks ago but I feel like I'm going to start nothing yet. I'm hoping to be pregnant too. I think I'm going to go get a test, however, I think you need to be at least a week late for anything to show up.
I've been pregnant twice before- eat healthy, light exercise on a regular basis, and don't lift anything to heavy. I think it's ok to have sex after conceiving it won't hurt the baby. Hope this helped and good luck for both of us!

okay first of all...
take the pregnancy test AFTER
your expected period, but just to be sure
you mite wanna do it with the doctor..
wherever you heard that having sex while
pregnant is nonsense.. its the best time.
and, when u are further into ur pregnancy
it is actually proven to help along with the actual
birth... You can carry heavy things for a minimal amount
of time, same with walking.. but your feet may swell up.
i hope this helps.

Most of the not carrying heavy things, no strenuous exercise...comes after a few months or so. You will have to wait on the test, it is too soon.

You should just take a pregnancy test to know for sure.
If it is positive, go to the doctor. If it is negative and you still don't get your period in a few days, re-test.
