i read the story, and it is trully unfortunate about the abuse, but i have no problems with gay people, or any people in general. what i do have a problem with is that some straight people are afraid of us because they might think we are going to try to pick them up, and they make our lives a living hell at work, or in the population alone

and to Barb, what version of the Bible are you reading? you don't know any of us and you can dog us all you want, and when you are stuck on the road somewhere, you might need us for help, i hope you get a different opinion of gays and lesbians, but i highly doubt it

I think that they are still people with the same needs, the same wants, and the same fears. I think that it is awful when people judge them before they know them. Many people think that it is wrong and so they act in a very judgemental fasion insulting gays and just not being a civilized person. I happen to be very close to two lesbians who have exchanged vows and are living a very happy life. I love them dearly and though I may not follow the same path they did, I wish them well and are happy for them. As for the site, i couldn't get much out of it. I wish i had as I do enjoy exploring new things. oh and to that barb person you are being very rude and taking much to much for granted.

I work in a bar that is owned by a gay couple, but it's not a gay bar. Sometimes certain people make me uncomfortable. For the most part in a general situation, they dont bother me. They are really no different to me than anyone else. According to the Bible it is wrong, but so is lying, swearing, fornication, lust and the list goes on. The greatest of these comandments(the Bible says) is to "Love your neighbor as yourself." It's not "love your neighbor only if he'she is a heterosexual, white,Christian." Christians need to remember that they sin too and that they are saved by Grace. Even Jesus hang out with sinners and do you think He condemned them? He loved them!

I have some gay people I am friends with, and some I'm not so crazy about, so I guess I treat them like everyone else. It does make me sad when Christians, who are supposed to practice tolerance, are so filled with hate towards homosexuals. If they would just live and let live (like the Bible instructs), everyone would be a lot happier.

H.omos rule!!! Seriously, I'm a Christian but I can't stand all those people judging gays ect...they should really get a life. I have many gay friends and I don't really see any problems with it.

I like good, honest people. Tons of gay people are both good and honest, just like tons of straight people are conniving jacktards. As soon as this culture decides to stop fearing the modifiers certain groups have attatched to their cultures, the better, I say.

I think young male gay guys come across as snobs sometimes. They must think they are so hot or something.

It's wrong according to the Bible. But I won't persecute them for it. Chances are they won't change so why make a big deal about it?
